Scope
This notice explains how theeclipse.my handles the personal data you give through this site. Notice version en-2026-10-31.3 (31 October 2026). The data user is the operator of theeclipse.my, an independent guide to The Eclipse, Stulang Laut. For any question, request or complaint about your personal data, contact us on +6018-3898656 by call or WhatsApp. This notice is also available in Chinese and Malay.
What we collect
Brochure registration: your name, mobile number, e-mail, the time you registered, the notice version you read, and whether you separately agreed to hear from us later. To prevent abuse we keep only a keyed code derived from your IP address, never the address itself. Giving these details is voluntary, but without them we cannot open the download.
Visit requests and messages: you send these to us yourself, through WhatsApp or by phone. This site does not store them; what you write reaches us in WhatsApp.
Visit statistics: Google Analytics records the pages you view, the site that referred you, your device and browser type and an approximate location (country or city). Unless you turn this off under Privacy choices, it uses a cookie identifier; in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it sets no cookie unless you allow it. If you choose Do not allow, this site does not load Google Analytics on your device at all. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
We do not collect income, budget, passport or identity card numbers, home address, employer, race or date of birth.
Why we use it
Brochure registration details are used to open the Field Guide download, to notify the operator and to reply to your brochure request; we send later news about the development only if you tick the separate box. Messages are used only to reply to you and arrange a visit. Visit statistics are used, in aggregate, to learn which pages help buyers. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to the developer or any other party without your consent.
Brochure registration
Once you register, your details are stored in this site’s database at Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1), and the system notifies the operator by e-mail. The download link works for 15 minutes, for up to 5 downloads. The security check is Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the browser without advertising cookies.
Marketing consent is handled separately from registration and is unticked by default; you can download without agreeing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who receives it
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site, stores brochure registrations, runs the security check and relays the notification e-mail; the operator receives that e-mail in a Google Gmail mailbox. Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) receives visit statistics unless you turn them off. WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you send us. These providers may process data outside Malaysia, including in Singapore and the United States, under their own terms and safeguards.
How long we keep it
Brochure registrations are kept for 24 months after your last registration and then erased automatically; the IP code is cleared after 30 days. Visit statistics are kept in Google Analytics for at most 14 months. Messages stay in the operator’s WhatsApp until deleted. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details you gave, withdraw marketing consent at any time, limit how we use your details, or ask us to stop contacting you. Call or WhatsApp +6018-3898656 and we will act on your request within 21 days.
